Rome set the background, the consortium set the goals: to help European companies with completing the energy transition roadmap by providing them with a set of harmonised tools and methodologies.
From lack of resources to insufficient knowledge about obligations and opportunities, no barrier will stand after Business2Act partners complete their mission. The group is working closely also with standardisation organisms, national authorities, and industrial actors to turn good intentions into benefits that show in business reports.
Business2Act is now looking for companies in Europe struggling to complete the path of the energy transition – they will join a group of participants to whom free guidance and first-hand access to innovative strategies, reports, and trainings will be granted. Interested? Fill the application form today!
Outputs, activities, and trainings will be regularly announced in the project page and in the energyefficientindustry platform.
What is Business2Act?
The aim of the BUSINESS2ACT (motivating and empowering Businesses to Act towards the green energy transition) is to support companies in the industrial and service sectors in their clean energy transition pathways by providing them with (and motivating them to use) a series of harmonised tools, templates and methodologies for the adoption of Energy Management Systems and for the uptake of energy savings and renewable energy measures recommended in energy audits.
The project will develop and test both a methodology for the identification of businesses falling into different thresholds according to Art.11 of the new Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and an Action Plan template for the uptake of EEM&REM: the template will include important elements, such as identification, quantification and valorisation of the Non-Energy Benefits triggered by the implementation of the measures, assessment of the benefits of digitalisation to improve energy efficiency and sustainability, the role of follow-up systems to support companies after the audit in the concrete implementation of the EEM&REM.
